Rescues

We need homes!

Dear Prospective Great Dane Rescuer:

These Danes have had their shots, been spayed or neutered, are on HW preventative and screened to know what type home would be best for them. Their adoption fees can be anywhere from $100 to $300 to cover those costs and to help with the cost of some that come to rescue and for one reason or another will never be able to be placed. If you are looking for a perfect, show quality Dane this is not the place and that is not the price you will be paying. These dogs lost their homes for many reasons, divorces, transfers, allergies, apathy of owners etc. I know their hearts and the love they have to give so if it is a loving devoted companion you want, please contact me for information and an adoption application.

Sincerely, Sue Sexton

All of the following Danes live in their temporary, foster home, near Hattiesburg, MS. Most Danes were rescues from different areas in Louisiana. There are also Danes being fostered in NorthWest Louisiana. Please contact Jennifer Bell, below, to get information about NW LA Danes.

It is best to enroll your new pet in an obedience class no matter how well trained they are. It is a good bonding experience and will give the dog a chance to learn to respond to commands in your voice. We all speak differently.
